Discover Egypt's most magnificent landmarks over five days, including an exhilarating hot air balloon adventure.
Day 1:
Begin your Egyptian historical journey with a pickup from your accommodation in Giza/Cairo. Visit the iconic Pyramids of Giza, where the tombs beneath originally housed human remains and offerings for the afterlife. Continue to the Egyptian Museum, home to an extensive collection of ancient artifacts spanning from the Predynastic to Greco-Roman periods. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading to the airport for a flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, our driver will escort you to your hotel for the night.
Day 2:
Experience the breathtaking hot air balloon ride in Luxor, followed by a visit to the East Bank. Explore the grand Karnak Temple, a vast complex with contributions from numerous pharaohs. Then, discover the elegant Luxor Temple built by Amenhotep III. Return to your cruise ship for a serene sail up the Nile to Edfu.
Day 3:
Embark on a morning tour to the hidden gem of Edfu, the Horus Temple, the second largest temple in Egypt. Sail to Kom Ombo and visit its unique temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus.
Day 4:
Start your day with a visit to the magnificent Abu Simbel Temple, dedicated to gods Amun, Ra-Horakhty, and Ptah, as well as to Ramesses II himself. Enjoy a visit to a Nubian village for a cultural experience and lunch before heading back to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for the night.
Day 5:
Explore Old Cairo with a visit to the Great Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha and Salah El Din Citadel. Conclude your tour with a visit to the bustling Khan El-Khalili bazaar for souvenir shopping. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before being safely dropped off at your accommodation in Cairo.
